In Week 7, we went outside and looked at the old wooden playground to see if we could think how to write about it using personification. In Week Seven of Term 2, we did Play Make Create. This is where the teacher reads you a story and you discuss the message in the story. Then you create something based on the message and also do a piece of writing. You can use materials or make a digital creation. This week Mrs Craig Read the book: The Day the Crayons Quit. It was about crayons wanting a rest and fighting about who gets used the most.

We have been learning how to ask questions in Te Reo. The question was :
E aha tēnei? This means: What is this?
Then we had to be able to answer that question several times using different Te Reo words for things we might find in the classroom.
